Highlights Fly Midlength
FLY MIDLENGTH
“The Fly Mid Length was to designed to get a board that lifts early and glides efficiently, without losing the precise, reactive feel you want once you’re on foil. The longer, narrower outline reduces resistance and helps you get flying in lighter wind or with smaller foils. A slightly wider nose and tail keep the board stable and easy to manage in chop or during transitions.
The single-to-flat bottom, tail cut-outs, and beveled rails work together to give the board a clean release and smooth touchdowns. Combined with the raised front-foot deck angle, the result is a board that feels balanced, responsive, and natural under your feet. The high-end full carbon construction keeps the board light and stiff, without compromising durability.
It’s a simple idea: a board that makes everyday sessions easier and more fun, with the glide of a downwinder and the control of a compact shape.”

F.A.Q.
For whom is the FLY MIDLENGTH made?
The Fly Midlength is designed for riders who want earlier lift, more glide, and a more forgiving take-off than a compact board can offer.
It’s ideal for:
- Intermediate riders progressing to smaller foils
- Light-wind sessions where efficiency matters
- Heavier riders looking for stability without losing performance.
- Anyone who wants a board that makes take-offs smoother and sessions easier.
- It also pairs exceptionally well with the PARAWING Pyros.
If you want a board that helps you fly sooner and stay in control in real-world conditions, the Midlength is the right choice.
What makes the FLY MIDLENGTH different from the FLY CARBON?
Both boards deliver high performance, but they are designed for different styles:
Fly Midlength
- Earlier lift
- More glide
- Better for light wind
- More stable in chop
- Excellent for swell riding and small downwind runs
- Pairs beautifully with PARAWING.
Fly Carbon (Compact)
- Shorter, more agile
- Better for jumps, rotations, and freestyle
- Quicker transitions
- Extremely reactive underfoot
If you want earlier lift and more range → choose the Midlength.
If you want a playful, compact board → choose the Fly Carbon.
FLY MIDLENGTH or EDGE MIDLENGTH, which to choose?
Fly Midlength
The Fly Midlength is the more accessible, smoother, and more forgiving option. It lifts early, and is perfect for light wind, downwind-style riding, and anyone who wants efficiency and comfort without losing performance.
Edge Midlength
The Edge Midlength is the slightly more performance-oriented shape. It’s stiffer, more reactive, and delivers a sharper, more connected feel once on foil. Choose the Edge if you want a faster, tighter, more responsive midlength for powered sessions, carving lines, or riding more aggressively.
What foils do you recommend for the midlength?
For optimal performance and canopy tension:
- Leading Edge: 7–8 PSI
- Strut: 6–7 PSI
Always check your pump’s pressure gauge and adapt slightly for your weight and temperature conditions. Colder air = lower pressure. Warmer = release a bit to avoid over-inflation.
How should I care for my FLY MIDLENGTH?
- Rinse with fresh water after each session
- Avoid leaving it in direct sunlight or inside a hot car
- Use a board bag for transport and storage
- Check foil mount screws regularly but avoid overtightening
- Repair dings quickly to prevent water entry
With normal care, the full carbon construction stays light, stiff, and high-performance for many seasons.
