Highlights Edge Prone

EDGE PRONE

“With the Edge Prone we wanted a board that lifts instantly, feels balanced in the pocket, and stays smooth through fast directional changes. The wider nose helps you get into waves earlier and pop up with confidence, while the narrower tail and refined rail line let you carve deep without catching. The recessed deck increases control underfoot, especially when pumping or redirecting at speed.

The full carbon construction keeps the board light, stiff, and highly responsive. Every pump and every rail input transfers directly into the foil. It’s designed for surfers who want a clean, efficient paddling feel and a board that reacts immediately once on foil.”

F.A.Q.

For whom is the EDGE PRONE made?

The Edge Prone is made for riders who want a fast-paddling, highly responsive surf foil board for small to medium waves, beach breaks, and open-face surfing.

It’s ideal for:

  • Prone foilers who want early entry and clean pop-ups
  • Surfers who want deep carves without rail catch
  • Riders progressing into steeper waves
  • Experienced foilers who want maximum responsiveness
WHAT ARE TIPS FOR STARTING OUT?

A few tips for starting out: Go high on volume for a first board so you just could catch the mushy foam balls to chip in. After you can start catching softer waves that are easier pop up on.

Consider a shorter mast for small days close to shore. Most people ride 72cm, but you can even ride 55cm masts for tiny waves.

It takes about 5 sessions to start having fun like up and riding somewhat consistent, but there are a lot of ways to dial in a foil so make sure to ask around with a particular setup. It usually takes something like 30 hours to be able to pump the foil, but you can always try dock starts to help with that. And if you can get towed, you'll learn much faster. Lessons also will pay for themselves. The key skills are popup, and pumping.

How should I care for my EDGE PRONE?
  • Rinse with fresh water after each session
  • Avoid leaving it in direct sunlight or inside a hot car
  • Use a board bag for transport and storage
  • Check foil mount screws regularly but avoid overtightening
  • Repair dings quickly to prevent water entry

With normal care, the full carbon construction stays light, stiff, and high-performance for many seasons.
