What foils do you recommend for pump foiling?
Foils come in different aspect ratios, which describe the balance between wingspan and chord. High-aspect wings are long and narrow for maximum glide, while low-aspect wings are shorter with more chord for added lift and stability.
Because pump foiling relies heavily on continuous glide and efficiency, you generally need more surface area than for winging or surf foiling. Which means sizing up your front wing will almost always give you better results.
How should I care for my EDGE PUMP?
- Rinse with fresh water after each session
- Avoid leaving it in direct sunlight or inside a hot car
- Use a board bag for transport and storage
- Check foil mount screws regularly but avoid overtightening
- Repair dings quickly to prevent water entry
With normal care, the full carbon construction stays light, stiff, and high-performance for many seasons.
